Fancy some fresh juice while on the go? Vitamer might just be the way to go!
I love juice. My trusty online sources (search engines, if you have to know) tell me that juice is good for my body. Not going to lie, I rely on my online sources a bit too much. Once, I was feeling unwell. So, I went online to search for a solution before the consulting the doctor. Guess what, I was floored. I felt death was upon me!
Luckily, the doctors saved my furry little butt. He said it was just a cold, but I know he was trying to make me feel better. I’m sure it was the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious illness the expert on a top-ranked website (on search engine results) diagnosed.
Ok, back to the Vitamer. Long story short, while I was recovering in the hospital and shopping online, I saw the Vitamer. It is kind of my thing. Small, cute, and extremely useful. It’s not only a juicer, but a blender too!
Let’s have a look at the juicy details!
What is it
Vitamer is a 3-in-1 bottle. Besides being a to carry your juice around, it is also a portable juicer, blender combo. It weighs in at around 430 grams, about the weight of a can of soft drink. You know what they say about small things. A little body always harbours a great soul. With this great soul called Vitamer, you can enjoy fresh juice anytime anywhere.
You charge Vitamer with a USB cable. This is super handy because we recharge of phones with USB cables when they run out of juice. This means you get to recharge your Vitamer on the go too. That is, if you need to use it more than 15 times. Yes, a single charge can make 15 bottles of juice. Honestly, you’ll run out of fruits to juice before you run out of battery juice.
What problem does it solve
Fruit juice tastes better freshly blended. Once you blend your fruit juice, it can only be left out in room temperature for two hours before it becomes unsafe for drinking. You’re supposed to keep the juice refrigerated if you want to keep it for 12 to 24 hours.
This means you can’t really blend your fruit juice and bring it on the go, unless you plan to finish it within two hours of blending. With Vitamer, you can store your fruits, washed and peeled, in the bottle and prepare the juice just before you drink it.
Who is it for
Anyone who wants to stick to a healthy lifestyle should take a look at Vitamer. Pop your preferred fruits into Vitamer and you’ll have your daily fill of juice to provide you with vitamins. That is, if you don’t put the bottle in a place with extreme temperatures that might denature the nutrients.
If you want to have more than 350 mL of fruit juice a day on the go, then you’ll need to bring your fruits with you as well, preferably those that you don’t need to peel.
Is it innovative
Vitamer solves the problem of juicing and blending your fruits while you’re on the go. However, the volume of 350 mL feels too little. I understand the design choice is to keep the bottle small enough to be easily portable. However, the blender and battery takes up space. It is a compromise that makes sense.
It lets you enjoy freshly blended fruit juice. However, if you don’t mind something that was blended an hour or so ago, you can actually blend more fruit juice and carry it in your favourite bottle. Of course, the problem here is that , hence reducing the volume of fruits withoutIt is innovative to a certain extent. Portable. Easy to use and clean. Good-looking. It doesn’t have much innovation on the technology. But it did put effort in the design and how to make it more user-friendly.
Is it worth it
You get a 3-in-1 bottle that has a portable juicer and blender combo for just $14. It is a great deal. Trust me, my solid online sources told me so.
The other options available in the market are around $20 to $40 on Amazon.
Are there any alternatives
There are many such juicer and blender combos in the market. Vitamer stands out in terms of its pricing.
Compared to the competition, Vitamer is also more portable. Similar offerings we saw on Amazon tend to be more bulky as well. They seem to be designed as juicers and blenders first. Portability comes second.
With Vitamer, the minimal design screams of portability. This could be why it has such a small volume. If you can’t live with having only 350 mL, then you might want to check out the alternatives.
Despite the drawbacks we mentioned, we still think Vitamer is great value for your money.
It caters to a very specific lifestyle and routine. If you happen to be one of those who would benefit from something like this, then Vitamer might just be the portable juicer and blender combo for you.
If you don’t aren’t able to pick up such a habit, then you might encounter more friction when you use the Vitamer than you would find yourself benefitting from it. In this case, I suggest you jump back to the sea and find what suits you the most.
