MOTTRESS mobile mattress by MOGICS

When people live in cars or dormitories away from home, it is not easy to have a comfortable and hygienic personal mattress due to the difficulty of moving, shipping and the cost.

I hope to design a portable and comfortable personal mattress so that nomads or students, workers, or anybody away from home have a pad that improves sleep quality, is easy to carry, and accompanies them as they explore the world.

I’m an unabashed fan of MOGICS. The startup come up with a lot of interesting products and it is always a delight to see their new creations on Kickstarter.

MOTTRES is another simple product with well-thought design. It looks like the team encountered a problem in their everyday life and worked on an innovative solution to deal with the pain point.

Unfortunately, it seem that the size of the product is causing some problems in terms of shipping. Shipping cost is rather high and might price out some backers.

I understand that the global logistic situation is bad but, hey, if you’re reading this MOGICS team, get in touch with the Bears if you are interested in some help with shipping. We have a few good contacts that we can recommend.

Alternatives

There are many van mattress in the market, ranging from below $50 to $150 on Amazon. Of course, they have disadvantages that MOGICS listed in the video. Check it out below.
