Who is it for?

Is it worth it?

So at $121, would I smash open my piggy bank and splash out on one of these bad boys with my hard-earned pocket money? Well to be quite frank, no. Why? I hear you ask, well if you’re sitting quite comfortably I will divulge that exact reason.

The more distinguished audio quality isn’t a huge selling point for me. With just 8 GB of storage (although you can increase this to 512 GB with a microSD card), I am delighted to stick with my phone where my audio appetite is regarded. I also carry enough unneeded shit in my continually weight gaining satchel.

I also stylistically personally prefer the 2nd generation MIXXTAPE even with the absence of the touch screen display. Did someone holla, “Style over Substance?”

So should you grab one of these? Well if you need a magnificent looking ’80s inspired audio player, then please fill your boots, sit back and enjoy a tremendously superior listening experience than you currently dig on your phone.

My last words on MIXXTAPE are that I absolutely love it. I just don’t get paid enough to rationalise spending my coin on something I don’t need, despite my sincere desire.
